Synopsis

Kou Yamori, a middle school student disillusioned with conventional expectations, withdraws from school and spends sleepless nights wandering empty streets. During one of these nocturnal walks he meets Nazuna Nanakusa, an eccentric girl who believes nighttime wakefulness stems from unresolved daytime dissatisfaction. She offers to help Kou sleep and invites him to her home, where a shared futon leads to a startling revelation: Nazuna is a vampire who bites his neck. Kou learns that becoming a vampire is not automatic; the transformation requires being bitten by someone he genuinely loves. Motivated to leave behind his dull human existence, Kou sets a determined, personal objective—to fall in love with Nazuna so he can be turned into a vampire.
