Synopsis

Yukichi Fukuzawa, who has stepped away from military duty, hopes to work alone as a bodyguard for hire using his lethal sword skills. His freelance efforts stall until he meets Ranpo Edogawa, an outspoken youth whose encounter with Yukichi involves an unusual murder case; the events that follow lead to the creation of the Armed Detective Agency. Currently, Ranpo pursues a remarkably skilled individual capable of committing a flawless crime, but his investigation exposes a larger scheme aimed at destroying the Agency. Despite warnings about the setup, the Agency presses the investigation and is ultimately framed for the atrocity. Labeled as wanted terrorists, the remaining members must clear their names and consider alliances with former adversaries to restore their standing.
