Synopsis

A prolonged conflict rages between humanity and the Neuroi, an enigmatic and formidable alien species wielding advanced weaponry. This war spans the continents of Europe and Africa. To counter the threat on the eastern front, a new combat unit is established: the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, known as the Brave Witches. Their mission involves patrolling the vast, frozen landscapes of Orussia to locate and engage the extraterrestrial invaders. However, a critical incident occurs when one of the Brave Witches' members sustains severe injuries while en route to their operational base, rendering her unable to participate in active duty. In response, her sister, Hikari Karibuchi, volunteers to fill the vacant position. Despite possessing no inherent special abilities or significant magical aptitude, Hikari is resolute in her commitment to meet the expectations of her new squadron mates and demonstrate her capability to serve as a Witch.
