Synopsis

Ichigo Kurosaki, a substitute Soul Reaper, defends Karakura Town from Hollows—menacing spirits that threaten ordinary life. He operates alongside close companions: Orihime Inoue, whose abilities support healing; Yasutora Sado, a schoolmate known for exceptional physical power; and Uryuu Ishida, a Quincy whose history with Ichigo is marked by rivalry. Their routine is shattered by the arrival of Asguiaro Ebern, an Arrancar whose appearance signals the resurgence of Yhwach, an ancient Quincy monarch. Yhwach aims to renew the long-standing conflict between Soul Reapers and Quincies and intends to annihilate both the human realm and the Soul Society. He initiates assaults on the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, the Hollows’ domain. In response, Ichigo and his allies must join forces with former friends and foes to stop Yhwach’s destructive campaign and prevent the complete collapse of their worlds.
