Synopsis

In a world of anthropomorphic animals, the title of Beastar is given to those who bridge the divide between carnivores and herbivores by confronting inequality. Cherryton Academy has lacked such a unifier for five years, and the recent slaying of an alpaca on campus intensifies existing hostilities among species. With peace at stake, the role of Beastar becomes urgently relevant. Louis, the most likely candidate, declines the position and departs the school, prompting the student council to promise the title to any student who apprehends the killer. Legoshi, a wolf torn between his protective instincts and personal uncertainties, feels compelled to look into the crime. His investigation is complicated by his deep, conflicted emotions toward Haru, a white rabbit, as he balances duty, vulnerability, and the academy’s escalating tensions.
