Synopsis

As a child camping beneath a star-filled sky, Kasumi Toyama experienced a vivid, electrifying rhythm she calls the "Star Beat." That intense, glittering sensation stayed with her and became something she yearns to feel again. Now a freshman at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School, Kasumi explores numerous club activities and even considers part-time work, but none rekindle that original spark. Her search takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a star-shaped guitar tucked away in an old pawnshop's storage. The instrument leads her to a live music venue where, upon witnessing a concert for the first time, she is overwhelmed by the energy and decides on the spot to start a band. Determined to reclaim the heart-stirring excitement of her youth, Kasumi and the friends she gathers must face the practical and emotional challenges of building a group and performing together, all in pursuit of that luminous, pulse-quickening moment.
