Synopsis
Kasumi Toyama and her high school bandmates in Poppin'Party enter their second year while coping with added responsibilities: student council roles, extra classes, and part-time employment. Separated into different classrooms, their opportunities to meet and rehearse shrink, making past joyful gatherings feel distant as they struggle to even hold practice in Arisa Ichigaya's basement. Amid their uncertainty, an unfamiliar girl appears and inadvertently brings attention back to the group. At the same time, other emerging all-girl bands—Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World!—begin to establish themselves, each bringing distinct personalities and performances to the scene. As Poppin'Party reconnects with music and forms new relationships, the band’s lively, emotionally stirring songs resume their presence on stage.
