Synopsis

Retsuko, a red panda who works as an accountant, has entered a romantic relationship with her coworker Haida, a hyena. Initially hopeful, their partnership faces pressure as Haida loses his job and develops an escalating dependence on gaming. Trying to conceal the extent of his problems, Haida’s secrecy and worsening circumstances create tension between them. After being forced out of his apartment, Haida moves into an internet café and reconnects with an online acquaintance, a skunk named Shikabane. As undisclosed issues accumulate, their relationship approaches a volatile turning point. At the same time, a significant presidential election is underway, and one candidate takes a notable interest in Retsuko’s singing, introducing additional complications into their lives.
