Synopsis

A newly opened dimensional passage expands human travel to worlds beyond the solar system. Hoshiwatari Goro, driven to find his father who vanished under unclear circumstances, possesses only an old photograph as a clue. Seeking answers, he signs on with a youth-oriented space tour outfit called YAT that operates trips to various planets. During his quest he becomes involved in a catastrophic accident that destroys a vessel; as recompense he is required to work for YAT. That obligation pulls him into a sequence of journeys and incidents across space as he continues to pursue the truth about his father.
