Synopsis

A decade after the events surrounding Yuuko, Kimihiro Watanuki quietly maintains the shop he promised to uphold. Though he bears a persistent sadness, he shares a peaceful household with Maru, Moro, and Mokona. Occasional visitors include Shizuka Doumeki, once a rival and now a loyal ally, and Kohane Tsuyuri, a former psychic prodigy now studying folklore under Doumeki at university. When a case suited to the shop’s peculiar expertise emerges, the group becomes involved. Later, Doumeki’s grandfather Haruka asks Watanuki to look into Doumeki’s troubling dreams. Entering the dream realm, Watanuki observes past events from Doumeki’s viewpoint, uncovering truths about incidents from ten years prior and learning more about the deeper bonds that connect them. The narrative centers on memory, perspective, and the quiet revelations that reshape understanding of past relationships.
