Synopsis

In this animated adaptation of the manga's concluding arc, tensions rise when Lupa, another suitor for Lum, appears and triggers a renewed contest between Lum and Ataru. The pair must replay their perilous game of tag to stop a threat that could annihilate Earth. Ataru's victory hinges on speaking three words he has long avoided: "I love you." The story examines whether he will reveal his true feelings to protect the planet or allow pride to lead to catastrophe, maintaining the original's blend of urgency, emotional conflict, and comedic stakes.
