Synopsis

Koyomi Araragi is preparing for college entrance exams when he notices an alarming change: his reflection vanishes from mirrors, indicating a vampire-like condition. Concerned about the implications for his body and identity, he turns to Yozuru Kagenui, a specialist in supernatural anomalies, and her companion, the doll-like Yotsugi Ononoki. Kagenui assesses his situation and presents Araragi with a stark choice: suppress the vampiric abilities he acquired from Shinobu Oshino, or accept a permanent loss of his human nature. The narrative follows Araragi as he faces this dilemma amid the pressures of his studies and the emotional weight of potential transformation.
