Synopsis

Set in a reality where flavor and texture define value, specialized professionals called Bishoku-ya seek out extraordinary ingredients and creatures. Toriko, a physically extraordinary hunter, pursues rare and dangerous fauna to assemble what he envisions as the ultimate multi-course meal. Renowned for his strength and deep knowledge of wildlife, he takes on commissions from elite clients and eateries to procure prized foodstuffs. Traveling beside him is a nervous, inexperienced cook who, motivated by Toriko’s ambition, accompanies him to refine his culinary abilities and discover uncommon ingredients.
