Synopsis

After the Tokyo Manji Gang defeats Taiju Shiba's Black Dragons and integrates the remaining members, Takemichi Hanagaki seems to have taken a step toward preventing the tragic future that claimed his girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana. Yet his challenges persist. Although Takemichi has revealed Tetta Kisaki's betrayal, Kisaki has aligned with Tenjiku, a ruthless gang led by the inscrutable Izana Kurokawa. Izana becomes fixated on Manjirou "Mikey" Sano, directing a destructive attention at the Tokyo Manji Gang's distant leader. In a future Takemichi later sees, the combined schemes of Izana and Kisaki precipitate Mikey's moral collapse, a downfall that is a direct cause of Hinata's death. A devastating loss then strips Takemichi of his ability to leap through time, leaving him stuck in the past with one last opportunity to save the people he cares about.
