Synopsis

Shuu Tsukiyama is a ghoul who consumes human flesh and savors his meals. During an evening when he is prepared to begin a planned killing, his initial bite is interrupted by a sudden camera flash. The photograph, taken by high school student Chie Hori, records a vivid image of Shuu with a bloody corpse, threatening to reveal his true nature. Discovering that Chie is a classmate at his school shifts Shuu’s priorities: what began as a need to protect his secret becomes a fascination with the peculiar, absent-minded photographer. As they draw nearer, Shuu seeks to navigate the danger of exposure while probing the limits between their opposing existences, promising Chie a more remarkable photograph than the one she already possesses.
