Synopsis

Taishi Fura, once a baseball player who has fallen into delinquency, stumbles upon a ghoul called Lantern attacking his former friend and killing another person. Before he can intervene further, his classmate Kishou Arima—revealed to be operating undercover for the Commission of Counter Ghoul—arrives and drives the creature off. Driven by a desire to avenge his friends, Fura teams up with Arima to track down ghouls throughout the 13th Ward with the goal of confronting Lantern. Tokyo Ghoul: "Jack" offers glimpses into the earlier period of Arima's life, portraying his experiences as a feared CCG operative while still in high school.
