Synopsis

Humans and demons share a tense coexistence where practitioners of magic who hunt demons are known as demon masters. Qi Xiaoxuan, leader of the national demon master force, encounters the wayward prodigy Huzi by chance, and the two form an alliance to pursue demon-slaying and safeguard the Tao. After five centuries of tranquility, signs of renewed demonic activity emerge, casting uncertainty over their future and prompting the pair to confront rising dangers while upholding their duties.
