Synopsis

Mizuki Usami is a dedicated participant in her high school’s art club, committed to practicing and improving her craft despite a lack of shared seriousness from fellow members. The club’s president regularly dozes through meetings, and Collette’s attendance has dwindled, leaving Mizuki to shoulder most activities. Subaru Uchimaki is a talented artist who could attain recognition if he applied himself, yet he focuses his energy on creating the perfect two-dimensional spouse. Mizuki tries to carry out typical club tasks and maintain momentum, but her efforts are repeatedly hindered by this group of unreliable peers and by her own distracting romantic feelings toward Subaru. The story follows her attempts to sustain the club’s purpose while navigating interpersonal obstacles and personal longing.
