Synopsis

Keima Katsuragi, famed online for his unmatched skill at dating-sim games, prefers virtual romances to real-life interaction. His deep dedication to galge titles leads him to accept a challenge meant to prove his supremacy. Instead, the task entangles him with Elucia "Elsie" de Lute Ima, a naive yet mischievous demon charged with reclaiming evil spirits that fled hell and dispersed among humans. Keima learns that each spirit hides within the emotional turmoil of actual girls, and the only method to draw them out is to guide those girls through their own romantic struggles. Bound to Elsie by a lethal collar that enforces cooperation, Keima is compelled to apply his game strategies to unpredictable, three-dimensional people, confronting feelings and situations he has always avoided. Stripped of the safety of simulations, he must translate virtual conquest into real empathy and navigate the complex, often fragile hearts of many girls to complete the mission.
