Synopsis

This narrative serves as a precursor to the animated series 'Journey to the West.' It chronicles the early life of Sun Wukong, detailing his encounter and subsequent bond with Su Yi, a princess from the celestial domain, formed while he resided in the mortal world. Despite this connection, Sun Wukong faces severe persecution from other deities, who brand him a demon and confine him beneath the Five Fingers Mountain. Following three centuries of imprisonment, the god Rulai instructs Wukong on the principles of justice and righteousness. Subsequently, Sun Wukong embarks on a significant journey, safeguarding the Longevity Monk as they travel to distant lands. Their objective is to retrieve the 'fire of creation,' an artifact deemed crucial for the prosperity of the world. After navigating numerous adversities and ultimately succeeding in their quest, they return. Throughout these events, a profound conspiracy is uncovered, irrevocably altering the predetermined paths of the master and his disciples.
