Synopsis

In Kyoto during a blistering summer day, a young man returns to his apartment hoping only to switch on the air conditioner and find relief. His plan is thwarted when Ozu accidentally drenches the remote with soda, leaving the cooling unit inoperable and the group enduring oppressive August heat. While rummaging in their storage space, they uncover a functioning time machine and, unaware of the potential consequences, resolve to travel into the past to reclaim the remote before Ozu can damage it. Their mission to prevent a simple accident propels them into an unforeseen and overwhelming adventure that tests their expectations and bonds.
