Pei Qian, a migrant laborer, becomes linked to a peculiar wealth-conversion system that offers a chance to restart his life through business. The system’s rule is perverse: for every 100 yuan of profit earned, he receives only one yuan, while any losses count entirely in his favor and can be kept. Seeking to incur losses, Pei Qian deliberately enters the high-risk game industry and produces unconventional games that defy market expectations. Contrary to his intentions, these offbeat titles repeatedly find an audience, bringing him significant income and public acclaim. Though admired as a savvy entrepreneur, Pei Qian alone knows his true aim was to lose money rather than build wealth.
