Synopsis
At the National Tournament, Ryouma Echizen and the Seishun Academy boys' tennis squad confront Shitenhouji Middle School, last year's semifinalist and a leading contender after winning the Kansai Regionals. Each Shitenhouji player is reputed to outmatch Seishun's members in particular skills, and among them is Kintarou Tooyama, a "super rookie" whose abilities challenge Ryouma's strength and technique. This East-versus-West encounter forces Seishun to extend their capabilities if they hope to overcome the Kansai champions.
