Synopsis

After spending a month overseas, the Foreign Expedition Team returns to the Japan U-17 training camp, bringing twenty players whose abilities outclass those currently at the camp's top court. Coaches declare that twenty top performers will be chosen for continued training, igniting tension when only high school athletes initially earn selection. Middle school competitors refuse to accept that outcome and confront those ranked eleventh through twentieth to try to displace them. As the much-anticipated 'Genius 10' are late to appear, middle schoolers begin plotting to obtain those coveted positions as well. Unconventional duos form and collaborate, pooling tactics and skill to take on the nation's top ten. The contest unfolds as a strategic, deceptive, and skill-driven struggle, with the ultimate aim of securing the right to represent Japan at the U-17 World Cup.
