Synopsis
At the U-17 World Cup in Melbourne, junior tennis squads from across the globe convene to determine the youth world champion. Germany, aiming for a tenth consecutive title, faces stiff competition from established powers such as Switzerland, France, and the United States. Japan, positioned low in the standings, gains new hope by assembling its top middle school talents into a revitalized squad. Led by the uncompromising captain Houou Byoudouin, the Japanese team prepares to demonstrate their abilities on the international stage. Prior to the main tournament, participating teams take part in exhibition encounters; Japan is scheduled to meet reigning champions Germany in a match that appears daunting. Complicating matters, former friends have reemerged as opponents, testing the team’s cohesion. Confronted with high expectations and mounting pressure, Team Japan must rebuild its resolve and strive to seize the championship.
