Synopsis

Though he looks disheveled and laid-back, Hajime Kindaichi is far from an ordinary teenager: he is the grandson of Japan’s famed detective and possesses extraordinary investigative talent. Accompanied by his close friend Miyuki Nanase and the eccentric Inspector Isamu Kenmochi, Hajime ventures into isolated islands, unsettling towns, treacherous seas, and other dangerous settings. Driven to expose the realities behind some of the most intricate, harrowing, and unsettling cases, he pursues truth through puzzles that test intellect, endurance, and courage.
