Synopsis

The story resumes immediately after the events of the previous chapter, with Kazami Yuuji taken into custody on accusations of terrorism. Authorities present video evidence that appears to implicate him, and he is detained at Ichigaya. Investigators at Ichigaya are convinced that Yuuji is not the true perpetrator, yet acknowledge he failed in an attempt to assassinate Heath Oslo, the leader of a militant group that possesses a catastrophic weapon. Ichigaya pursues its own agenda regarding Yuuji’s fate. Meanwhile, the young women of Mihama Academy refuse to allow Yuuji to become a pawn in political maneuvers, and an enigmatic newcomer emerges whose involvement may change the situation. The narrative maintains a tense, uncertain atmosphere as loyalties and intentions are tested without revealing further outcomes.
