Synopsis

Yuuko Yoshida awakens from a peculiar dream to find horns and a tail on her body. Confused, her mother explains a hidden family history: they descend from a banished Dark Clan stripped of power and comfort by their adversaries, the Light Clan's magical girls. The clan's only chance to end the family curse is brutal—Yuuko must kill a magical girl and use her blood on an ancestral Demon God effigy. Before she can act, a magical girl rescues Yuuko from a truck. That rescuer, Momo Chiyoda, turns out to be Yuuko’s classmate and far stronger in combat and stamina. Rather than destroy her, Momo chooses to teach Yuuko, helping her awaken her latent abilities. Faced with the need to lift her family's fate, Yuuko must grow stronger and confront the challenging bond with the generous rival who may be both her mentor and the one she is destined to oppose.
