Following an eventful winter break, Kyoutarou Ichikawa and Anna Yamada reunite with a reinforced connection. Both pursue personal development: Yamada accepts more ambitious photography work while Ichikawa shows signs of physical and emotional maturation as he confronts his feelings for her. Time spent together beyond school settings allows their closeness to intensify, making it harder to ignore the emergence of romantic sentiment. Confronting these unfamiliar emotions, they come to understand that the passage of time will alter their relationship, forcing them to decide whether to preserve their close friendship or take the step toward becoming a couple.
