Synopsis

A decade after a decisive conflict with demon-beasts, the empire maintains global dominance by relying heavily on aer. Yuri Lowell and Flynn Scifo, recent recruits to the Imperial Knights, are dispatched to Ceazontania, where abnormal aer disturbances have triggered the emergence of grotesque mutations among local creatures, creating a grave regional danger. In the capital, Knights Supreme Commander Alexei Denoia and the innocent Princess Estellise are entangled in a covert power struggle, limiting the likelihood of timely aid for the embattled town. As conditions in Ceazontania worsen and reinforcements from the center are unlikely, Niren Fedrok, the local Imperial Knights commander, makes an unforeseen choice that will irrevocably affect Yuri and Flynn’s lives. The narrative follows their efforts to protect Ceazontania’s civilians, confront the mystery behind the bizarre events tied to aer, and remain faithful to their principles amid mounting pressure and political complexity.
