Synopsis

Mitsuyoshi Tada, a student and budding photographer entering his second year of high school, has given little thought to romance. While photographing cherry blossoms, he encounters Teresa Wagner, an upbeat foreign girl, and briefly takes her picture. They part ways but meet twice more that day; after finding her caught in a sudden rainstorm, Tada brings her to his family's coffee shop to dry off. Teresa reveals she is separated from her traveling companion, Alexandra "Alec" Magritte, who reunites with her soon after. The pair say farewell, yet the next day both transfer into Tada's class. Teresa and Alec adapt to life at Koinohoshi High School and join the photography club alongside Tada and his eclectic circle of classmates: the self-absorbed Kaoru Ijuuin, idol-enthusiast Hajime Sugimoto, diligent class representative Hinako Hasegawa, and the loyal Kentarou Yamashita. With these new, unconventional classmates becoming part of his everyday life and the club, Tada's school year takes on greater warmth and unpredictability, leading him to reconsider his feelings about love.
