Synopsis

Having defeated another boss, Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki enter the fifth floor, greeted by a panorama of decayed ruins and enigmatic catacombs. Their brief respite is interrupted as friction escalates between the Dragon’s Knights Brigade and the Aincrad Liberation Squad, jeopardizing the fragile unity of frontline raiders. With time running out, Kirito and Asuna rapidly assemble a small team and undertake a perilous operation. The mission also compels Asuna and Misumi “Mito” Tozawa to confront unresolved issues stemming from a near-disastrous event on the first floor, forcing them to reevaluate their relationship amid ongoing danger.
