Synopsis

Adapted from Shinobu Ohtaka’s seinen manga, the story follows Koushi Inuzuka, a bright high school student determined to pursue a career as a public prosecutor. Born into a family defined by physical combat, Koushi was pledged in childhood to marry the daughter of a rival clan as part of a pact meant to unite two powerful martial-arts lineages. Unaware of this arrangement, he meets Momoko Kuzuryuu: an energetic, petite martial artist who insists on claiming him as her spouse and proclaims herself the world’s strongest. Koushi recoils at her advances both because her youthful appearance makes him uncomfortable and because he does not recognize her identity. Concurrently, a feud among martial-arts families erupts, drawing challengers toward Koushi. He must confront the consequences of a childhood trauma that left him fearful of fighting, while Momoko uses her exceptional combat ability to shield him. The narrative explores their uneasy partnership as they face escalating clan conflicts, personal fears, and the question of whether their forced bond will lead to the future Momoko envisions.
