Synopsis

Koushi Inuzuka is an academically focused high schooler with aspirations to become a public prosecutor. He was born into a family centered on martial prowess, led by a father who relies on force. At Koushi's birth his father agreed to a binding arrangement with a long-time rival: Koushi would wed that rival's daughter so their lineages could produce the planet's most formidable martial clan. Now in high school and unaware of that promise, Koushi encounters Momoko Kuzuryuu, a bubbly, childlike martial artist who declares herself his fiancée and claims unmatched combat ability. Momoko openly pursues intimacy, a proposition Koushi rejects both because her youthful appearance unsettles him and because he does not know her background. Simultaneously, a feud among martial families escalates into open conflict, placing Koushi at risk of challenges and assassinations. Complicating matters, Koushi suffers from a phobia of fighting rooted in a childhood trauma. Momoko’s extraordinary skills and determination position her as his protector as they confront ongoing assaults and personal obstacles. The story follows whether they can endure the violent confrontations and intimate pressures that lie ahead, and whether Momoko will achieve her desire for a child with Koushi.
