Synopsis

Hikari Hanazono has always excelled at feats beyond ordinary ability. As a child she believed herself unbeatable until she encountered Kei Takishima and challenged him, only to be defeated repeatedly. Determined to outdo him in every area, from schoolwork to sports, Hikari enrolls at Hakusenkan, an elite academy attended by the affluent, where she and Kei occupy the top two ranks. They join the class known as Special A, a group comprising seven of the institution's highest-performing students. Hikari regards Kei solely as a rival, unaware that he quietly holds personal feelings for her. Together with their classmates, they navigate intense rivalry, close friendships, and the gradual emergence of romantic tension.
