Synopsis

In a future metropolis scarred by calamity and extreme socioeconomic division, distinguishing augmented humans from the unenhanced is difficult. Roy Revant operates as an outlaw bounty hunter and bodyguard, navigating dangers intensified by widespread cybernetic modification. After a powerful young girl rescues him from a violent assailant, Roy recognizes an unexpected ally. The girl, an amnesic android named Solty who has fled and become a target of the RUC Security Bureau, is taken in by Roy when he is contracted to protect Miranda; he assumes a fatherly role toward her. Together with a small group of companions, they confront threats and investigate the motives of vast conglomerates that claim to serve humanity while shaping life in the city.
