Synopsis

Al, a deceptively cute dragon famed as the first to slay a king in the demon realm and unmatched in combat, longs for a peaceful end after a life of war. Encountering the shrewd human mage Le Fei alters his path: through accident and circumstance Al becomes the reluctant guardian and father figure to Le Fei’s young son, Dino. As Al cares for Dino and navigates the unexpected duties of parenthood, the boy’s future hangs between ordinary childhood comforts and the call to take up the Warrior’s Holy Sword. The story follows their evolving bond and the tension between a desire for quiet retirement and the possibility of a heroic fate awaiting Dino.
