Synopsis

In 2142, Earth lies ravaged by severe pollution that has pushed human civilization to the brink. A sealed urban center called Ecoban was established to manage the aftermath by converting the planet’s contamination into power. That innovation stabilizes life inside the city but also spawns a privileged ruling class that views itself as superior and restricts entry to outsiders except as coerced workers. Beyond Ecoban’s borders, a harsh wasteland endures. There, Shua ekes out an existence while holding deep affection for his childhood companion Jay. Jay’s growing attachment to Cade, Ecoban’s security commander, creates an emotional rift that forces Shua to confront loss and reevaluate how to survive among the ruins of the planet. The story follows the strain between social exclusion, personal longing, and the struggle to persist in a compromised world.
