Synopsis

At Seishou Music Academy’s performing arts division, students’ lives are bound by their dedication to performance as they refine their skills. Karen Aijou, once carefree, has begun accepting a reduced role in the new staging of last year’s show until the arrival of her childhood friend Hikari Kagura, whose transfer alters the class’s balance and rekindles Karen’s drive. Karen then discovers a concealed arena beneath the school where secret auditions take place, with the winner designated as the “Top Star.” As she engages with these mysterious contests, Karen confronts the hardships of competing for the highest rank. Despite forces that may separate them, Karen and Hikari strive to uphold the promise they made as children: to become stars together.
