Synopsis

Set in the early 2000s, three childhood friends—Jin, Akira, and Lena—share a fascination with the mysterious. During a visit to the library with a new transfer student named Ami, they uncover a tome called the Akuma Compendium and recite its incantation, summoning devils. Ami reveals that Jin and Akira are destined as Devil Children who will influence the world's fate and gives them devices known as Devil Risers. The group travels through the Door of Time to the realm of Valhalla, where they oppose Imperius, a malevolent ruler intent on subjugating the world. Along the way, Jin bonds with Rand, a Sol Lion, while Akira's companion is Gale, a Hylon.
