In a separate thread of events, a confrontation prompts Hyde to recollect how he once used a disguise and his persuasive charm to deceive Licht Jekylland Todoroki—a talented pianist who regarded himself as angelic—into entering a blood-bound partnership with him. The tone remains light despite supernatural stakes, focusing on relationships, small conflicts, and the lingering effects of past choices.
