Synopsis

Maeda Toshiie arrives with Matsu to meet Chōsokabe Motochika, ruler of Shikoku, and conveys demands imposed by Nobunaga that many find intolerable. Motochika refuses to accept those conditions and presses Maeda toward defection from Nobunaga's service. At the same time, Keiji seeks to persuade Mōri Motonari to align against Nobunaga, a move that leads to his imprisonment. The situation escalates as Chōsokabe and Mōri adopt conflicting positions, setting them on a collision course.
