Synopsis

After the unsettling aftermath of Iona Urazoe's fan event, Ruuko Kominato remains burdened by what she and her friends now understand about being Selectors. Ruuko, Yuzuki Kurebayashi, and Hitoe Uemura find themselves reluctant to engage in the matches that could destroy the ordinary lives they value, yet Chiyori—another Selector—continues unaware of the true stakes and the peril of defeat. As Ruuko attempts to dissuade Chiyori from rushing toward a harsh outcome, she comes across a WIXOSS novel that might hold explanations about LRIGs and the foundation of the Selector conflicts. At the same time, Akira Aoi’s modeling prospects recover with Iona—now inhabited by Ulith—playing a part in that revival. Grateful and determined to help, Akira supports Ulith, not realizing Ulith plans to use a known LRIG to inflict suffering on Ruuko and to obstruct the possibility of Ruuko’s wish being realized.
