Synopsis

Ruuko Kominato's life changes when a WIXOSS deck brings an LRIG—an avatar card that contains a girl—into her possession. She soon meets other players in the same predicament and learns they are now Selectors: participants in a variant of the game that offers the chance to have their deepest wishes fulfilled. Victory promises fulfillment, but the stakes are harrowing: accumulating three defeats results in devastating consequences that can destroy a player's life. Surrounded by deception and peril, Ruuko and the other Selectors must probe the mysteries behind WIXOSS and confront what truly matters to them before their fates are sealed.
