Synopsis

Mihira Sanpei speaks with a Tohou accent and presents as a grounded, upbeat young man. Fishing is his central passion; while normally lighthearted and optimistic, he adopts a focused, earnest demeanor whenever he is angling. He lives in a village surrounded by diverse natural waters that present varied fishing tests. Though inexperienced at first, Sanpei possesses exceptional instincts for the sport and chooses to develop his abilities by entering multiple fishing competitions. Confronting successive trials, he works through tricky situations and learns from setbacks, steadily improving until he can retrieve nearly anything from the water. Along his journey he meets a range of rivals and allies whose challenges and companionship contribute to his growth and experience.
