Synopsis

Sailor Stars unfolds in two main segments. The opening arc ties up unresolved issues from the preceding season, marked by the reappearance of the Outer Senshi — Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna — and Hotaru, who has returned in a child form. The later arc shifts the emotional focus as Usagi and Mamoru face a temporary separation when Mamoru departs for studies in America. Concurrently, an idol trio called the Three Lights — Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten — comes into view. A new antagonist, Galaxia, seeks dominance across the galaxy by harvesting humans’ Star Seeds. In response, three new defenders known as the Sailor Starlights emerge with their own motives to confront Galaxia, operating independently of Sailor Moon.
