Synopsis

Twenty-two years prior, an unusual environmental event in Kanazawa caused the terrain to rupture and rise dramatically, forming an isolated region dubbed the Lost Ground. Kazuma, a young mercenary surviving in this unforgiving landscape, takes on any jobs he can find to get by. He is among the rare individuals who possess an Alter power that coats his right arm and torso with a metallic alloy. His life changes when he comes into conflict with HOLY, an organization dedicated to subduing and apprehending those they term Native Alter Users, and with Ryuho, one of HOLY’s top operatives. This encounter sets the stage for a consequential rivalry.
