Synopsis

Adapted from light novels by Tanaka Yoshiki with illustrations by Kakinouchi Narumi, the narrative centers on Ryouko Yakushiji, a 27-year-old investigator fluent in multiple languages who graduated from the elite Law Department of Tokyo University. Employed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, she confronts unusual and often supernatural incidents that arise in her investigations. Alongside these otherworldly challenges, Ryouko contends with Yukiko Muromachi, a fellow investigator whose comparable ability and striking presence make her a professional rival. The series follows Ryouko as she balances complex, bizarre cases and the competitive dynamics within the force.
