Synopsis

During a rare respite in the events of Rozen Maiden: Träumend, Jun Sakurada spends time with the Rozen Maidens and is told a poignant story. After Jun purchases a brooch for Shinku, she rejects the gift, prompting Souseiseki to relate the origins of Shinku’s relationship with Suigintou. The narrative explores the harsh, sorrowful circumstances surrounding Suigintou’s creation and the chain of misconceptions that transformed former comrades into bitter rivals, driven by Suigintou’s deep-seated animosity toward Shinku. The account shifts to 19th-century London in Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre, revealing the earlier bonds and concealed truths that shaped their enduring conflict.
