Synopsis

Following a devastating conflict in the canal city of Priestella, Subaru and his comrades claim a narrow victory that leaves them heavily scarred. The devastating powers of Gluttony have left Rem comatose, stripped Crusch of her recollections, and erased Julius's very identity from existence. Seeking a remedy for these afflictions, Subaru discovers legends of an omniscient entity known as the Sage Shaula. This quest points him toward the Pleiades Watchtower, situated deep within the unexplored and lethal sands of the Auguria Dunes—a treacherous wasteland that even the legendary Sword Saint, Reinhard, could not successfully traverse. Facing extreme weather, unidentified magical creatures, and profound perils, Subaru and his trusted allies set out on a hazardous expedition to recover everything they have lost.
